Philodendron Melanochrysum, Live Indoor Plant

Philodendron melanochrysum plants are a rare type of vining philodendron that have become popular as houseplants due to their gorgeous foliage. Their velvet leaves emerge as a stunning copper color before hardening off to a dark shade of green with brilliantly contrasted yellow veins. Their leaves can get as large as 24 inches long. They are surprisingly easy to care for once you finally have one in your possession. Native to the tropical regions of South America, philodendron melanochrysum appreciate warmer conditions, bright indirect light, and consistent watering. These stunners also do well in normal household humidity – a trait less common in rare tropical plants.
